Nothing matters anymore. What you are holding now – that’s all that matters. A gloriously refreshing pale ale – that’ll take your mind off it. Packed with a democratic malt bill and an autocratic hop schedule, Bread And Circuses will be all the sustenance and entertainment you need.

Half-pint, cask at Piccadilly Tap. Shared with Finn. Fine spotty lacing from a remaining small head, next-to clear golden body. Moderate smell of bread-like malts added by a citric touch. Mid-sweet malt-fruity flavours, moments of toffee and leafy hops. Finish with a resinous twist. Quite alright. (Manchester 11.10.2022).

11/8/2019. Bottle from Crosby Beer Shop, Merseyside. Pours clear golden with a lasting slightly frothy off-white head. Aroma of citrus, hops, caramel, light tropical notes and grass. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Moderate body slight oily texture, average carbonation. Nice fruity finish with a little lasting bitterness. Not bad.
