Big Mac is our BIGGEST beer yet. Leave it to our friends at Blood Brothers to push the limits of what we do. This Double IPA was brewed in collaboration with Blood Brothers Brewing to celebrate Slake's 4th anniversary.
It's dry-hopped with Nelson Sauvin hops with 50% more hops than our regular IPAs. We get BIG and bright citrus and stone fruit aromatics and it tastes like ripe fruit. It's full bodied but very slakeable for an 8% beer
Big Mac was named after Mac, one of the horses that lives on the farm here. Mac is known to be a bit of an escape artist. He finally persuaded us into naming a beer after him.

A hazed milky orange DIPA with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, loads of tropical fruits, grapefruit pulp, pleasant and rich. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, loads of tropical fruits, dank notes, very nice. On tap at Lupulus.
