A deep dark stout with a thick frothy creamy mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, light coffee grind, vanilla, alcohol warmth, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, vanilla, light creamy notes, very nice and smooth. On tap at Oktoberfest de Repentigny 2024.

(473ml can from L'Axe du Malt, Quebec City) Pours black with a small dark tan head and light lacing. Aroma of sweet black coffee, liqueur, baker's chocolate, toasted nuts, burnt caramel malt and a touch of vanilla. Flavour is cold brew-type black coffee with sugar and vanilla cream up front, a bit of a liqueur vibe to it again, more semi-sweet dark chocolate, toasted hazelnuts, medium-sweet up front but not cloying with a dry finish with aftertaste of coffee beans, cacao and toasty nuts/grains giving light to moderate bitterness. Light to medium body, slightly oily, with average carbonation. Solid sweet stout that isn't too heavy on the sweet, with good coffee/chocolate bitterness. Nice for the ABV.
