A refreshing traditional bitter. Amber in colour created using black and crystal malts and a addition of dark Belgian candy sugar and hopped with the finest English hops to give toffee and light citrus notes.

Cask half-pint at The Crown Inn, Oakengates on 2nd Dec 2016. Golden pour with a white topping. Bit of a farmyard aroma and taste, add a horse blanket too: either by infection or design it wasn’t for me. Will try again if I ever see it, and re-score/review: just to be fair to the brewer.
