Brewed with our friends at Twin Sails Brewing Co., this golden sour base was brewed and fermented with old world inspiration. This beer underwent a turbid mash, and was boiled with aged hops before fermenting with yeast and bacteria cultures captured from some of favourite sour beer brewers from around the world. Complex, but sessionable and light dry hopped with Simcoe.

A lightly hazed golden ale with a thin creamy lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light Brett, light lactic notes, light cereals, pleasant. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with light Brett, light lactic notes, passion fruit, Epsom salts, very nice for a 2 year old beer. Can from brewery.

Poured from 473mL can. Slightly hazy orange gold with minimal white head. Earthy, lacto, tartness. Okay.

473mL can, pours a hazy golden with a small white bead. Aroma reveals a rather strange wild yeast profile, some lacto, and a touch of earthiness. Flavour is modestly tart and somewhat yogurty, with an interestingly unique buggy character, a touch of sourness, and light earthiness. Gently tart and buggy, but not particularly complex and too yogurty for me. Not too impressive.
