Non-barrel-aged version of S.I.T.U.S - Simplicity Is The Ultimate Sophistication.
From the brewery:
"We filled bourbon barrels this week with a 10% ABV Imperial Stout we’re calling S.I.T.U.S. - Simplicity Is The Ultimate Sophistication. The barrel aged portion of S.I.T.U.S. will sit in these barrels until next year while it develops some of the flavours left over from the bourbon. While most of the beer was destined for barrel aging over the next year, we did package a few non barrel aged kegs for the Taproom.
S.I.T.U.S. is packed full of chocolate, coffee, and caramel flavours, finishing sweet and slightly warming. This is a very limited release and will be served in the taproom only with no cans to go."

A deep dark stout with a very thin brown head. In aroma, chocolate malt with dark fruits, light coffee, light alcohol warmth, pleasant. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, licorice, alcohol warmth, light vanilla, pleasant and rich. On tap at brewery.
