Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Mostly clear, dark ruby red. Thick and foamy, lasting, lacing, pale beige head. Nose has light roast malt. Coffee grinds. Spicy hop leaf. Charred citrus. Pine bark. Taste is moderate to full on, charred citrus bitter. Minimal sweetness. Light dryness. Medium body. High, foamy carbonation. Lingering roast malt and citrus bitterness to finish. Nice CDA.

ABV: 6.66%. Cloudy - hazy medium amber brown colour with a average, frothy - fizzy and open, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, light to moderate roasted, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, grass, fruity hops, wood, light pine. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration, fruity hops, woody hops, dark malt, grass, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. Cask @ Nottingham Beer Festival. Medium head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are rich bitter hops, roast malt, chocolate and has a nice long bitter finish.

Cask @ Nottingham Beer and Cider Festival. Hazy dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma is sweet, malty, roasted malt and moderate hoppy - pine and citrus. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Sweet and rather bitter finish. 171018

17/10/2018. Cask at the Robin Hood Beer & Cider Festival 2018, Nottingham. Pours very dark brown with a small bubbly beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, hops, citrus and pine. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation.
