Draught@Esplanadi terrace (Maifest)
Clear deep copper color, good creamy beige head. Fresh hops - citrus dish cleanser aroma - not very German! Light bodied for this ABV. Flavor is similar to aroma: fresh hops ("green", not bitter) giving lemony flavor. Some backing caramel malts. Unconventional maibock.

(Draught at Pikkulintu, 20120513) The beer poured brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had malts, grass, pine and molasses. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, molasses, grass, pine, fruitiness and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet, malty, hoppy and bitter. Tasted like a dunkler bock with extra hops. Quite odd.

Pours dark brown with a smooth white head. Aroma of bready malts, grassy hops and earthy notes. Taste is sweet and malty with bready notes and hints of caramel. Finish is sweet, bitter and slightly sticky with notes of bready malts. Okay, but could’ve used some more body.

Aroma is sweetish with butter, some grassy hops and hints of honey. Flavour has grassy hops. butter and some honey. Easy-going and good.
