Our founder, David, spent over 15 years making whisky, and when Spey Valley Brewery began, he would make whisky all day, and beer all night (or vice versa).

Stillman’s IPA is well-balanced, with a great hoppy aroma and punchy bitterness, balanced against a beautifully sweet, malty background. A great all-rounder beer, with light spices and floral notes, that’s not too strong and is just the trick on a hot sunny day.

Malts: Maris Otter, Wheat, Crystal.
Hops: Northern Brewer, Rakau, Cascade, Delta.

Opalescent golden colour, medium sized not too stable off-white head; aroma of overripe peach, floral, tropical fruity, some earthy-wine cellary and caramel notes; taste of a fruit juce with some addedd bitterness - not that good

Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - golden amber with a nice fluffy head. Nose - light red fruit. Mostly grain and biscuit. Taste - strawberries but very metallic. Grainy again. Palate - light bodied with a crunchy texture and a long dry crunchy finish. A bit astringent. Overall - ok.
