A collaborative brew between Dead End Brew Machine, MashDown, North Coast Smokehouse, and Lacada Brewery Co-Op. Barrel Aged edition taken from the first ever batch brewed, aged for 2 years in a local whiskey barrel. Brewed using locally sourced Dulse from the North Coast of Ireland and malt smoked by Ballycastle based North Coast Smokehouse.

Bottled@PBF XII, Black colour, mediumsized brown head. Aroma is liquorice, toffee, earth and some dried fruits. Flavour is liquorice, wood, mild nutty and toasted notes.

Creamy lightbrown good mostly lasting head. Black colour. Heavy malty and moderate hoppy aroma. Very roasted. Moderate bitter flavor. Long moderate bitter finish. Oily palate.

Bottle 500ml. @ [ (PBF XII Tasting.) by oh6gdx ] - Petalax, Finland. [ As Lacada / Dead End Brew Machine / MashDown / North Coast Smokehouse Shore Dulse S ].Clear dark black brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, dark malt, smoke, light burnt, light chocolate. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, smoke, wood, ash, roasted, roasted, dark malt, malt bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Bottle 500ml in pbf xii. Opaque colour, small beige head. Licorice, sweetish toastyness in the nose. Medium-bodied. Licorice, roasted malts, caramel. Decent sweetish porter.

50cl bottle @PBF XII. Poured pitch black with a thin brown head. Chocolaty sweet, ashy aroma. Roasty, bit of ash with dark chocolate and coffee. Long finish. Pleasant.
