On draught at the brewpub. Pours a slightly hazed amber color with a medium off-white head that burns away steadily. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops, citrus and malt. Light to medium body with flavors of piney hops, fruit and sweet malt. The finish is somewhat bitter with a hoppy aftertaste. Decent overall.

Light amber color with lots of light orange/straw yellow. Again, little head, but tons of lacing. Served ice cold. Aroma is quite lacking due to the serving temperature, but citrus cascades is there. Sediment again thankfully. Begins very dry and bitter with (surprise) tons of cascades. I was ready to write this off as another ultra-unoriginal highly hopped American IPA, but as it warmed, a decent roasted malt came out, very subtle but impressive. On the finish there was a good mix of yeast and malt and the hops stuck with me and were quite clean and fresh. High quality beer, needs to be served warmer. I’d say medium to full body even. A great aftertaste, bitter but leaves a nice clean malty finish. The best i’ve had here so far. Again, I will have to rerate after I have tried this beer at a more appropriate temperature.
