tap at the brewpub - Pours lightly hazy yellow and laces well. The aroma is of corn with a hint of vague fruitiness. The sweet flavor is very light and it’s kind of off tasting in the finish. This light bodied brew is drinkable but quite underwhelming.

Bottle. Poured an amber gold with a thin eggshell head. Aroma was malty with hay and caramel notes and just a bit of pine. Flavor was quite similar to the aroma with the malt profiles starting off and the pine gave it a bitter finish.

Sample at the brewpub: This beer is a clear gold color with a thin white head the burns off quickly. Stringy lacing. The aroma is mostly hops with a touch of malt. Light-bodied and crisp with a mildly bitter hops flavor. Touches of malt and grain are present too. The finish is short with a lightly grassy and hoppy finish. Pretty standard stuff for this end of the standard brewpub spectrum.

On tap at Grizzly Peak. Slightly hazy light amber body, thin off-white head. Corny sweet aroma, lightly bready, grassy. Buttery flavor with corn, earthy, grassy hops, and light bubblegum. Bland. For the macro crowd.

Golden, a bit cloudy. carbonation was not a problem surprisingly. I was actually surprised with this beer. I do not like blond/golden ales one bit, but I found this one drinkable, and its taste stood out to me from the other beers I tried here (dont know if that is necessarily a good thing). Had some body to it at least, a little bit of that pilsener meaty flavor. I did not find it watery as the other people said, but the flavor seemed to last well enough. Some strong lemony/straw notes in the middle, though I did detect some sourness in the aftertaste. This is just a blond ale, and expectations should not expect more than that. Maybe I will have to try some more blond ales. . .
