Cask pour at brewpub. Malty with some citrus notes. Bitter finish. Each sip was better than the one before.

On cask at the brewery. Hazy medium orange body, creamy off-white head. Herbal, citrusy nose. Nice hoppy, creamy body with bright citrus, floral notes, and bready, cerealy malts. Pillowy mouthfeel. Quaffable.

Cask sample at the brewpub: Arbor likes their Bitters! Pours a cloudy yellow/orange color with a foamy bone white head that lasts awhile. Patchy lacing on the glass. Tangy fruit and malt aroma. Medium-bodied and glassy-smooth with an unassertive hops flavor, as well as touches of fruit and malt. The finish is mildly bitter and short. Pretty forgettable overall.

Cask in house. Lighter color than most ESB's Ive seen. Also a lighter aroma of mild berry/hops. Not surprisingly then, it had a lighter taste. Medium to light bodied. This beer seemed like they were testing the waters and just didnt committ to an ESB. Not enough hops, not enough barley, not enough body. Though what was there was a good even beer, it just had only passing flavor which I had to strain and drink quickly to taste. A good start, but needs improvement.
