A dark amber beer with no head. The aroma is sweet grassy, while the flavor is very hoppy and grassy - I get the notion that the hops used are very fresh, or is the the soul use of Brewers Gold? The end is nicely bitter - though not very bitter, and not as bitter as I had expected from the style.

2004 draught @ Redbones. Very light, but not completely clear, gold. Small foamy white head, mostly disipating. Smells light and floral, rosewater comes to mind. Light airy angel food cake, plenty of soft fluffy hops notes and a touch of light malts. Flavor is crisp and hoppy, but not terribly bitter. Good floral notes, light body. Tastes like lavendar and rose petals steeped in mineral water and then mixed with pilsener malts and herbal-tasting hops. Very refreshing. Quick finish, moderate carbonation. Isnβt this a blonde/golden ale?? Certainly dosent seem like an ESB.
