Hand-bottled. A light amber beer with a thin white head. The aroma is very spicy with notes of nutmeg, heather, and lavender, as well as a slight acidity. The flavor is slighlty acidic with strong notes of spices; heather, lavender, and milfoil (rølikke), leading to a very dry finish.

2004 draught @ the brewery. Appearance of a mildly golden ale, touch of amber with a decent sized white head. Smells like perfumy and of flowers (honeysuckles come to mind). Flavor is quite light, but noticeably floral from the heather. This gives it a lightly sugary flavor, yet the heathery/lavender flavor is certainly not lost. Good amount of that, and it creates a good smoothness. Finish is clean and moderately quick. Mildly effervescent, lightly oily feel from the flower petals most likely.
