Sample at the brewpub. Pours a clear yellow-gold color with a medium thin white head that recedes quickly. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral hops and grainy malt. Light body with flavors of mildly spicy hops, sweet malt and a bit of fruit. The finish is grassy and hoppy with a short mildly bitter aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.

2004 draught. Good moderately bright gold pour. Small white head, quite clear with fine bubbles and light lace. Smells very crisp, like spicy, leafy hops mixed with white grape juice. Light sweet malt as well. Flavor is quite full and elegant. Significantly sweeter than a Bohemian, with less tart, crips hops, but such a lovely balance and subtlety of flavors. A great mix of the soft sweet malt (vanilla syrup, sweet apples, white grapes, sugar cookies) and the hops lurking in the background. Held up very well as it warmed. Solid medium body, good clean finish, lightly bubbly, zesty mouthfeel.
