On tap at Kuhnhenn - Clinton, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out grassy notes, a bright herbal character, and crisp crackery malt. Flavour is rather herbal, with a grassy crispness, vegetal notes, and biscuity malt. Lacking oomph and too herbal. Lame.

Sample at the brewpub (as "Classic American Pilsner"). The beer is a clear yellow-gold color with a medium thin white head that fizzes away steadily. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of mildly spiced hops and malt. Light body with a light hops character that has grassy and fruity notes, plus some sweet malt in the background. The finish is short and mildly hoppy. Average overall.

Good yellow, bubbly pour. Small white head, and a very corn-like aroma with some light hops notes. Flavor is lightly sweet with a light metallic finish. It tastes very fresh and clean, but not overly flavorful as Joe points out. Itβs too bad Kuhnhenn has to make this stuff to appease the BMC crowd that comes in. Itβs a great beer for what it is, no skunky, sour flavors.
