Perfectly clear deep copper and bronze coloured body with a thinnish, very fast-dying, large bubbled tan head, only two centimetres tall at maximum. Aroma of soft grain, a touch of toast, light hay and grass, some mellow caster sugar notes, all ending with some yeast and bread - fairly mild throughout. Light-bodied; Strong grassy and herbal notes show at first with a fairly large malted barley note with earthiness and even a touch of light nuttiness right behind. Aftertaste shows some pure caster sugar elements with some grain, toasted malts, nuts and even a bit of bubble gum on the finish, but some alcohol shows through as well. Overall, a good enough, very light beer that shows some funkiness, a lot of sweet flavours and more malt than anything else, but all-in-all, still goes down quite easily. Good enough to sample, but I wouldn't go out of my way for this one, even if I sampled only lagers, exclusively. I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Whole Foods in Arlington (Clarendon), Virginia on 06-May-2020 for US$2,09 sampled at my house here in Washington on 16-June-2020.

Can from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours bright gold with a large, foamy white head. Aroma of grass, citrus and pale malt. Near medium body. Flavor is grass, citrus, pale malt, and a touch of Noble spice. Expected bready, but it doesn't go that way for me. Crisp. Clean. Good flavor. I am surprised.
