Ever so slightly hazy deep golden and light copper coloured body with a nice, two centimetre tall off-white head that stays afloat for a long while. Aroma of mangoes, papaya, a dash of hibiscus tartness and some passionfruit notes as well, but quite tropical throughout along with some sturdy alpha acids that show some bitterness here as well. Medium-bodied; Strong mango and papaya notes dominate with a lot of body from those and some structured malt here as well, but the tropical fruit notes show more on the hop side of things with a pleasant and fairly subdued bitterness, but some nice sweetness at the end, as well. Aftertaste is crisp and robust with the fruits with a good balance of sweetness and bitterness, with a nice support from the hops all make for a very enjoyable beer that hits the marks nicely, especially for the style. Overall, a very nice beer that is great for the style and shows the mango, papaya and even passionfruit tropical notes nicely, while allowing for some bitterness here from the hops. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Trader Joe's in San Fransisco (North Beach), California on 08-March-2022 for US$2,63 sampled later in the day here in my hotel room here in Fairfield, California on 08-March-2022.

Can from Corti Bros. Pours translucent gold with a foamy white head. Aroma of citrus, celery and tropicals. Med body. Kind of juicy. The celery seems to have vanished. So citrus and tropicals. There's a bite of something. Dry. Sort of juicy. Bitter. Interesting stuff. I'm likin' it.
