Can from Corti Bros. Pours light copper with a near white head. Aroma is bready with grapefruit. Med body or a little more. Flavor is grapefruit, not quite zest (but close), with some lightly roasty malt support. Pretty dry; decently hoppy; bitter enough for me. Old school on steroids – lacking burning harshness.

Tap. Pours clear golden, medium off white head, great lacing. Aroma is pine, bathroom cleaner, aspirin. Flavor is light sweet, light plus bitter, Grapefruit and pine, pinesol. Light plus body, lingering bitterness. So so.

Clean but different

On tap at the brewery. It pours a light golden color with an off white head. The aroma has orange, mint and some light menthol, herbs and honey. The flavor is very herbal, lightly perfumy with some hints of pine and menthol. A little toasted malt with really strong herbal/piney bitterness. Well made. Sort of an old school West Coast/British hybrid IPA. Different and not bad.

Draft. Rich amber beer with a cream head. Pine and grapefruit aroma. Pine and earth flavor with caramel and grapefruit. Medium bodied. Very good bitterness. Caramel and earth linger with pine and grapefruit.
