Can from Star Grocery in Berkeley, CA. Pours hazy gold with a huge foamy near-white head. Aroma is amazingly tropical. Med + body. Flavor is very tropical - there's an intense flavor - like a mix of ginger/pineapple/citrus - but that's clearly not what's actually present. Juicy for sure. Maybe there actually is pineapple. The side/rears of my tongue tingle strongly. Juicily undry. Barley does seem to be missing. Juice is the word! I am loving this juicily bitter ale. Stunned am I.
