Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7.5
Can from Berkeley Bowl West. Pours translucent dark berry color with a slightly pink tinged head. Aroma of berry and vanilla. Med body or nearly. Flavor is cherry, vanilla and lactose. Fairly dry. Slightly dark fruit bitter. Vanilla tends to get lost. Lactose same. An interesting departure. Under some circumstances it could substitute for red wine - with pizza?
