Can from Bine & Vine. Pours translucent gold with a white head. Citrus/melon aroma. Med body. Flavor is melon, citrus and very, very lightly roasty malt. Dry. Pretty hoppy without harshness. Bitter for sure. Good flavor.

Draft Willebecher at Barley Forge Brewing Company in Costa Mesa, California. The pour is a hazed orange golden with a white head that leaves behind a bunch of lace. The aroma is tangerine citrus and resin. The taste is the tangerine citrus fruit and resin of the nose and adds pine as it warms with a minimal cracker malt present below the surface of the hops. The palate is medium bodied with natural carbonation and a dry crisp resin bitter finish.

Sample at the brewpub. Yellow-orange color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lacing. Aroma of citrus, hops and malt. Medium body with flavors of herbal hops, grapefruit and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrusy hop aftertaste. Decent overall.
