330ml bottle from Pien. BBE 18.04.19. Pours dark reddish orange with a smooth foamy head. Aroma of coffee beans, caramel, toffee, vinous berries, earthiness and hints of grass. Taste is smooth, malty and earthy with some berries, coffee, caramel and toffee notes, hints of pine. Finish is smooth and malty with some pine, berries, earthiness and coffee notes. Interesting, smooth but quite complex for a red ale.

Bottled 500ml (Pien)
Ruby colour, good off-white head. Aroma has coffee and caramel, somewhat pleasant. Light-bodied. Some caramel, but mostly dry because has coffee and coffee tannines. I don't know if tannines are from red wine barrel or from coffee itself. Aftertaste has berries, probably from red wine. Nice brew but needs higher ABV.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - BB 15.04.2019, from Pien, 20180503) The beer poured deep amber and lightly hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had coffee, malts and caramel. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were coffee, caramel, malts, hops and bitterness. Aftertaste had hops, coffee and bitterness. The coffee was too dominating.
