On tap @ First Taproom. No trace of any hops, more like a stout and quite poor at that. Meh.

Bottle 330ml. [ As FIRST Black IPA ].Clear light dark black brown colour with a large, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dark malt, moderate to heavy hoppy, wood. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration, roasted, dark malt, fruity hops, wood, hop bitter, mediu dry, light licorice wood. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20180523] 8-4-7-3-15

Can at Jónás Kézműves Sörház, Budapest, 08/06/18. Light black with a decent tan covering. Nose is lIght charr, earthy fruit rinds, toffee. Taste compris liquorice, spice, toffee, umami, light pine, mellow roast. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close peppered with dusty hop bitterness. Decent enough CDA.
