Making history! To make BPBW Beer Week in Budapest 2018 truly special, a beer was brewed in the cooperation of 14 Hungarian breweries for the first time. Best of both worlds, the result is a New Budapest IPA, which is not really a NEIPA, neither a West-Coast IPA. Created by main organizer Tibor Rebák, brewed at Reketye Brewing Co, available for a limited time during the event at all the involved craft beer venues of Budapest.

Appearance - 10 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 6.5

Can from the festival @ home. Pours somewhat hazy, deep brown with beige head. Nose is NEIPA-ish, hoppy, but rather sweet, but there's a faint piney touch to it too. In taste the bitter character is somewhat more apparent, but still pretty subtle and it closes with bitterish finish. Has light body, perhaps a bit too light, smooth mouthfeel abd average carbo. Refreshing IPA.

Draught @ Élesztő, Tűzoltó utca 22., Budapest, Hungary 1094. [ As BPBW18 ].Unclear medium amber orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, sweet malt, fruity malt, moderate to heavy hoppy, fruity, pineapple, marmalade hops. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, pineapple, marmalade, sweet malt, fruity hops, fruity, caramel, sweet fruit, medium dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20180522] 7-3-7-3-14

Can sample at a tasting at troubles' place. Thanks rayaron. Lemony and orangey hops, some sweetish malt, bitterish finish, medium-bodied. Pretty nice.

Draft at Kandallo. Clearish golden color. white head. Floral herbal aroma. Taste is lightly bitter herbs. Highly drinkable
