Draught pint at Gaylord, MI location on 6/2/06. Head is gone nearly as soon as the glass is put down, with no ring, no lacing and almost no carbonation. Very light, straw yellow, with just a hint of deeper gold. Strong, heavily drying, sour wheat in the nose does not seem to have been dealt with properly, as it is much too sour, soapy and dominant, with a very high level of attenuation, and no barley malt to create a backbone. Some light bubble gum, vanilla and corn notes arise as well, showing a quick lagering time. The flavor is sour, astringent and puckering. Soapy, soggy wheat, vanilla and dry cream notes all bog down the palate, while a stinging, noxious carbonation is persistent and knocks back any malt (barley) that might be there. No hops. Some alcohol is noted in aroma and flavor (fusel in nature). Some mushy cereal and sour wheat notes linger on. Quite watery as well.
