Draught pint at Redbones on 5/20/06. Quite a strong showing of head for a 3.8 draught, pressurized, low gravity beer. Head is old ivory colored and sits atop a faded magenta-amber body. The nose is quite strong, and leaves no trace of sweetness. But yet it is strong and fluffy (those are two opposites, I know) with its malt presentation. The tingling carbonation from a draught bitter is odd, and artificially engaging. But still, the straw, deep graininess and light honey notes are enough to dazzle, and the beer dosent know the meaning of worty or overdone. Hops are just an afterthought, almost like old sazz or dusty EKGs.
