Cask at the Rose & Crown, Sandhurst. A dark chestnut pour with a thin cream head; aroma of chocoalte powder; rich, almost meaty, in the mouth with a chocolatey taste and some fruity raspberries; then a dry fruity finish with a lingering raspberry edge. A satisfying porter.

Cask at the St. Ives 'Booze on the Ouse' beer festival, 2017. Pours ruby brown with a small beige head. Aroma of nut, dark fruits, toffee, malt and hop. Medium sweetness with moderate roasted bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Fruity finish. Nice fruity light porter.
