Pours a hazy dark straw color from a can, some lacing. Not a lot going on in the nose surprisingly, some light tropical fruit, nondescript, a little grapefruit. Flavor leans more towards a light grapefruit with a pine finish. Finishes dry and a little tart. Good beer.

Pours hazy grapefruit into a tulip. White head with little retention recedes leaving soapy lacing. Passionfruit and mango aromas. Soft with sweet tropical fruit and resin upfront turning dry in the lasting finish.

On draught at Lord Hobo, 7/10/15
Soft peachy-gold with lighter blonde tints and a moderate amount of mostly well-retained white head.
My glass not being tainted with dishwashers in need of a rinse fluid change, smelled lusciously fruity, with plentiful fresh tangerine, light peach and some light tropical fruit I donβt usually associate with galaxy hops. No resin, dry but ample pale malt sugars in the background and no alcohol or flaws make it a very focused and delightfully aromatic IPA.
Tight carbonation whisks about light graham cracker and honey malt flavors that bounce off the ripe orange and tangerine hop flavors. Light watermelon, apricot and moderate, balancing bitterness finish the beer. A lot like the first batch of Whirlpool, though maybe a bit less bright and obviously a touch stronger. Still, itβs wonderfully well-attenuated, but not to the point of astringency, with a soft mouthfeel and near-perfect balance.
