Bright lemon-lime bronze colored beer is moderately hazy with a full white head that is well-retained.
Citrus in the nose is crisp and bright, with spiciness and almost a lime zest-like note. The wheat softens its bite nicely and there is no alcohol noted nor flaws whatsoever. Touch of earthy yeast and mineral character, but it’s all hops here, for the most part.
Bitterness up front is lemon-like with a touch of light sweetness from the malts to balance and a very soft texture from the wheat broken up slightly by the ample carbonation. Chewy, creamy, nutty wheat is flavorful (as flavorful as wheat gets, I guess) and the beer comes off quite rustic, despite being a pretty straightforward hoppy wheat ale. Hops are light on the acidity, thankfully but very full of flavor, adding some light grapefruit and floral notes. Quite juicy. I think I had 3 pints of this. Excellent beer.
