Bottled@Butcher & Banker, Vaasa. Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, some black currant, mild blueberries, some wood and mild lactic notes. Flavour is black currant, some lactic notes with some slight roast and mild ashes.

Bottle 330ml. @ Butcher & Banker, Vaasanpuistikko 18 C, Vaasa, Finland 65100. [ As Maistila Black Blackcurrant Black Ale ].ABV: 5.6%. Clear dark red brown colour with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, burnt, dark malt, blackcurrant. Flavor is moderate sweet, light light acidic and light bitter with a long duration, burnt, blackcurrant, roasted, wood, dark malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20180705] 6-3-5-3-10

Tap @ sopp 2018. Poured near black with a thin off white head. Blackcurrant notes in aroma. Mild sourness. Flavor has blueberries, blackcurrants, sourness and mild roastedness. Tart finish.

Draught @ SOPP 2018. Loads of blackcurrant, some tartness, lactic sourness and hints of fruits. A bit strange.

Bottled at Butcher & Banker, Vaasa. Black with small beige head. Tart black currant juice aroma. Mid sweet with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Mostly tart black currant lemonade, some citric acid. Low bitterness.

Tap at Olutsatama. Opaque colour, creamy espresso head. A bit toasted, British, blackcurrant aroma. Medium-bodied. Toasted, tart blackcurrant flavour. Dry finish. Interesting berry beer.

Tap at SOPP2018, Tampere. Color is dark brown with small slightly reddish white head. Aromas and flavors: Berries, blue berries, some vineous elements and malts. Lots of berry flavors. Confused.
