22oz bottle pours out amber brown topped with a sand head. Nose is nice sweet caramel malts some bourbon barrel wood notes. Taste is more of the nice sweet malts bourbon barrel and some vanilla.

On tap at Trail's End. Pours a murky, reddish-brown color, with a small, beige head. The aroma is cloves, dusty bookstore, smooth bourbon, toffee, and leather. Sweet and musty, with a mellow bitterness. Medium to heavy body, with a syrupy, boozy palate. This is a quality, barrel forward, and creamy beer.

Bomber from Bine & Vine. Pours murky brown with a creamy tan head. Aroma of dried darkish fruits, wood and whiskey. Full bodied. Flavor of dark treacly malt, bourbon/whiskey, dark fruits and something creamy - like nougat. Sort of. Like a See's Candy truffle of a medium dark sort. Heat there is, but definitely tolerable. Enjoying this a lot.
