Bottle shared @ Belgian Beer Geek gathering. Thanks! Black colour, brown foam. Roasty, notes of coffee, vanilla. Rather thin mouthfeel, lots of vanilla, light whisky finish.

Can thanks to Yaniv’s MiL! Pours a near clear dark brown with a grayish brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of maple and coconut with dark grains and a touch of vanilla. Flavor has maple and vanilla with a growing coconut and a dark grain backbone.

65 cl bottle @ Huikas 2018 release, 10,6% Aroma has bourbon and vanilla. Also licorice. Flavour has alcohol, licorice and some bourbon. Also liquor. Good but I expected more. Quite light for the style and ABV.

On draught at the location in Visalia. Black with tan head that lingers. Solid beer, but lacking depth and complexity.

Bomber from La Riviera. Pours very dark brn/blk with a tall creamy/bubbly tan head. Aromas of maple, vanilla and wood. Near full bodied. Flavor is vanilla, maple, dark treacle/toffee and some not too musty wood. There's a whiskey aspect - makes the bit of heat a flavor. Somewhat towards dry. Seems bitter, but that could be the whiskey impression. Interesting. Tasty. Nicely done.

Imperial stout rating #600. 4 oz pour on draft at BarrelHouse. 2017 edition. Dark brownish black with thin tan ring. Aromas of harsh whiskey, dark fruit, raisins, oak, light vanilla. Tastes of harsh whiskey, dark fruit, oak, roasty notes, light chocolate, some vanilla. Medium body with a dry finish. Don’t get any maple. Pretty rough and hot too.

22 oz. bottle from a trade. Aroma is mellow maple candy, weak vanilla, mild chocolate.
Maple has a big base through the the center. The vanilla shows only slightly with the barrel showing is a subtle manner in the finish but there. The body is respectable with a mild pop from the bourbon. Smooth heat. Pretty nice!
