Can. Pours mahogany with minimal ivory head. Lots of dark fruit on this with slight chocolate. A bit of fig. A little thin on the mouthfeel and the alcohol is well hidden.

Capped 750 from La Riviera. Pours dark garnet/copper with a beige head. Aroma of darkish fruits with somewhat toasty malt. Approaching full bodied. Flavor is somewhat toasty malt, raisin/date, dark bread, hint of chocolate. Drier than expected; some hop bitter seems present. Just very lightly spritzy in carbonation and flavor. It's a very nice drink.

On tap at Laughing Monk, pours a hazy dark chestnut amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out chestnuts, toasted malt and Belgian yeasty esters. Flavour is along the same lines, with toasted nuts, caramel and Belgian yeast. Quite sweet and not really authentic. It's okay.
