Tap. Pours clear golden orange, small off white head, decent lacing. Aroma is coriander, floral, Belgian yeast, pepper, field grass. Flavor is light plus sweet, light plus bitter. Medium body.

Capped 750 from Cap Tap. Pours bright gold with a rapidly decaying white head. Aroma of coriander with an acidic breadiness. Med + body or better. Flavor matches the aroma. None of the expected Belgian yeast characteristics. There is some citrus, and dried pear works for me. Medium dry and not hoppily bitter. It becomes ever more like clean dried pear (the powers of suggestion!). A little astringency develops, and it's like the flavor is increasingly intense. Any doubts at the start are completely dispelled by the 3rd or 4th quaff. Liking it very much, Despite no Belgian yeast for me.

On tap at Laughing Monk, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is along the same lines, with candied sugar, esters and Belgian yeast. Floral and sweet. Fairly authentic but still too sweet. Okay.

Draft. Amber beer with a cream head. Yeast and light fruity estery aroma. Fruity ester and spice flavor with yeast. Medium bodied. Spice and fruity esters linger with yeast.

Really nice bodied beligian tripel that's low on the hops, which I like. Very flavourful and malty. Hog Wash SF. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
