ABV: 7.2%
Hops: Simcoe
Malt: Pilsner, Crystal Light, Melanoidin & Munich
Availability: Seasonal
At this time of the year we like to keep it spooky (and boozy). Which makes the Gourdfather the perfect seasonal beer. This ale was Brewed with roasted pumpkin, cinnamon, Vanilla, cloves, ginger and all spice. Not to mention the variety of malts that give this Imperial pumpkin a solid backbone. all the above culminating in a delicious and satisfying brew. So when someone hands you another, it’ll be an offer you can’t refuse.

A lightly hazed golden ale with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light pumpkin spices, pleasant. In mouth, sweet fruity malt with light fruity esters, light cloves, light ginger, OK. On tap at Whole Foods Philadelphia Center.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a dark amber color with a large foamy off-white head that left decent lacing. The aroma was sweet cinnamon sugar and clove. The flavor was a bit dry with notes of cinnamon sugar, allspice, clove and a bit of bread. Medium length dry spice finish. Medium body. Alcohol well contained. Ok
