The colour is almost black. The aroma is powerful: cookies, bread, spices, the warm smell of cinnamon. Full bodied, it's sweet, but not thick; dark sugars, caramel, burnt sugar, and a load of spices, that is not excessive, but it's evident; sweet liquorice, and mild smoke.
Excellent.

A deep dark stout with a thin brown head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, pumpkin spices, light cloves, light ginger, alcohol warmth, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet chocolate malt with dark fruits, licorice, alcohol warmth, light licorice, nice cloves and nutmeg, very nice and smooth. On tap at Lupulus.

(On tap @ The Wheeled, Barrie ON, Oct 23/22) Pours black with a small cream head and no lace. Aroma is heavily pumpkin pie spice as you'd expect, nutmeg abounds in particular though clove and cinnamon are there too, there's some smooth chocolate malt and a little molasses sweetness, faint roast. Flavour is sweet and pumpkin spice-forward up front, nutmeg in particular, dark caramel and some chocolate, but drying towards the finish with moderate plus burnt grain and spent coffee bitterness, lingering pumpkin pie spice. Light to medium bodied for style, average carbonation. A pumpkin bomb up front but more balanced through the sip thanks to the healthy bitterness and roast reminding you that it's a stout.

Poured from 473mL can. Black with small beige head. Mild roast malt and light chocolate with pumpkin spice and hint of graham cracker. Pumpkin spice isn't overpowering so it's okay. Better than the pumpkin version of Each Beast a God.

Dark brown. Just a bit of head. Ok, lots of the pumpkin spice. Nutmeg and cloves are all over this. The spice dominates, honestly, leaving a lot of bitterness. Cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, yeah. Some soft sweet dark malts and a hit of alcohol in this. Not to my taste.

473mL can, pours black with a small tan head. Nose is loaded with pumpkin spice, light graham crackers, and some dusty cocoa. Flavour is full of pumpkin spices, some dusty cocoa, and light roast. It's a pumpkin spice bomb, with plenty of alcohol. Not a fan of this, but it's not an abomination.
