Reviewed from notes.
On tap at Vermont Tap House, Williston, VT on 11/20/2019
Poured into a tulip.
Appearance: dark brown close to black in color with a finger and a quarter of khaki foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: milk chocolate, light notes of sweet coffee, touch of roasted coffee then some doughy/baked tones with a pomme-like sweetness rolling in underneath
Flavor: copies the aromas pretty spot on in a variety of different sweet ways; finishes leaning into the chocolate and doughy/baked qualities
Texture: medium bodied, leaning into being a sipper; some smoothness - nothing distracting and nice carb level
Overall: I realize the doughy/baked tone was probably the donut and I'm not exactly why I got more of a pomme-like tone rather than actual apples, but it is what it is and this is one I would still return to.

A deep dark stout with a thick creamy brown head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with light vanilla and light powdery character. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, light vanilla, alcohol warmth, very nice and smooth. On tap at brewery.
