Cask at the White Hart, Holyport. A golden amber pour with a loose cream head; yeasty aroma with some biscuity malts and a touch of citrus; sour grainy taste with an immediate forceful herbal bitterness; then a long crisp bitter finish. Rather good.

Bottle from Nottcuts Garden Centre, Laleham (the posh bit of Staines). Malt and honey aroma. Hazy amber. Thin creamy white head. Medium bitter. Quinine and grains. Medium bodied if on the thin side. Leaves a slick mouthfeel. Soft fizzy carbonation. Long astringent finish. Better than I was expecting. It's got a hoppy kick to it but is somewhat basic.

Gravity dispense at Ealing BF, 06/07/16. Clear golden blonde with a well appointed white head. Nose is bread dough, tangerine, light floral strains, melon balls, toasted bread. Taste comprises tangerine, light mango scrapings, bread dough, cantaloupe melon. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with a juicy hop flicker. Decent enough fayre for an APA on gravity.

Gravity cask at the Richmond Brewers’ Market. Pours clear gold with a light, foamy white head. There’s a decent hit of melon and orange in the nose, some pale bread. Light-medium sweet flavor with notes of ripening citrus, pale grains, light oily pine, tangerine. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Faintly resinous to finish, with further ripe citrus, pale bread, melon, mellow pine. An easy drinker.
