This is the second beer in our trilogy of hope series.
8% ABV but drinks easier than its ABV suggests. Smooth, citrus and dank, perfect for DIPA fans and people who've not tried this style before.
Hops: Simcoe, Citra, Columbus and Centennial

Can ordered from Twisted Crow, Basingstoke. Aroma had tart citrus and softer stone fruit. Some grassiness and onions. Hazy pale orange. Frothy foamy white head. For me the sweet juice is initial element that's noticeable. Medium bitter thin becomes apparent alongside alcohol. The bitterness then closes matters. Sour edge. Light-medium bodied. Slick verging on creamy. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. I can see why the brewery describes this as a starter DIPA or such like. Fruity and big. There's bitterness and crispness. But it doesn't club you over the head.

Tap at the farmers boy St Albans. A hazed golden orange coloured pour with a sticky fine white head. Aroma is dank hop, loose wheat, tangerine, green mango. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, loose earthy wheat. Grass, pithy, mineral. Palate is dry and chalky, highish carbonation. Good.
