We teamed up with Windsor’s amazing A Hoppy Place to create this beer to help celebrate their second birthday, drawing inspiration from our mutual love of the classic West Coast IPA style. Of course, being a birthday beer, we had to push the boat out and what better way to do so than a bigger and badderer DIPA!

Hopped with Columbus, Strata, Chinook, and Citra this beer has that trademark balance of malt and hops with a dry bitter finish.

Can at home from The Hive, Crowthorne, 18th September 2021. Pours a copper colour. Aroma is malty, caramel, resinous. Taste is resinous, malty, caramel, sweet, not so bitter, not bad, but I prefer some of the other West Coast beers from Elusive

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from Elusive online. Pours deep orange with a creamy, mostly white head. Quite sweet, rich and malty gear, some gooey pine, ripe citrus, candi sugar, relaxed bitterness. Medium to full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Lightly resinous finish, more meaty malts, ripe citrus. Tasty stuff.

Can bought at the brewery. Aroma is resinous, with a malty caramel edge. Opaque amber. Foamy white head. Resinous with quinine for added bitterness. Underlying fruit alongside caramel and malts. Spice. Medium bodied. Slick verging on oily. Average carbonation. Long dry finish with surprisingly little if the astringent. Bitter and smooth.
