Cask at the 30th Chappel Beer Festival. Pours a clear chestnut brown colour with a foamy off-white head. Aroma of caramel, malt, roasting, and fruity hops. Moderate sweetness and bitterness. Quite light body and thinnish texture, soft carbonation. Bittersweet finish. Other than being a bit thin this was decent.

Cask @ Crosse Keys, Chester [270115]
Light caramel brown, clear, dense off white head, good appearance, good lacing
Aroma of soft sweet caramel malts, hint of raisin, soft fruity malts, no hops, light nose
Taste - Nice fruity caramel malts, touch of toffee, simple malt flavour, soft raisin, gentle subtle flavours, would like even more malt flavour, maybe a tad safe
Palate - Medium light body, soft sweet palate. Finish as main flavour.
Overall - Good clean soft malty beer, simple malts, well put together
