A punchy, East Coast Double IPA.
We used Azacca and Cashmere, both American hops known for imparting peach, apricot and tangerine notes. This beer was double dry hopped to really bring out those tropical aromas in the hops. To achieve a full bodied beer we used a much heavier malt bill than usual, with an abundance of oats to round out the flavour and give the beer a smooth body.

Can ordered from Noble Green Wines, Hampton. I added this as a Hazy DIPA based on the hazy orange beer in the photos... which were obviously of another beer because this is clear copper gold. Frothy if not overly impressive translucent white head. Low key fruity aroma. Medium sweet. Syrupy stone fruit with a touch of tempering sourness. Light bitter slightly resinous finish. Medium bodied. Oily. Flat-average carbonation. Dry slightly astringent finish. Hmm. Is this DIPA bland or economic? Pleasant but ultimately forgettable.
