Can from Premier Hop, Pudsey. Aroma has sweet caramel to the fore with underlying peanut butter - think a caramel-peanut butter Chunky kitkat - and a vague boozey buzz. Dark and inky. Foamy tan head soon disappears. Smooth in terms of taste. There's a bitterness - coffee and booze - but overall a sugary burnt caramel sweetness. The sugaryness really gains traction. But where's the peanut butter? Apart from all over the artwork that is. To answer my own question, I guess or possibly imagine a nuttiness that contributes to the smoothness. It' more in the undertow. Thick bodied. Full fat cream mouthfeel. Flat-average carbonation. The sweetness and booze provide somewhat of a counterbalance to each other. But it's ultimately just uber sugary, so not so much up to my nuts in it but potentially a risk to my gag reflex. But confusingly enjoyable.
