Bottle at home in Hackney - bought online. Pours slightly unclear copper-ruby with a small, foamy off-white head. Light to medium sweet, refreshing acidity, tart and leathery berries. Medium bodied with delicate carbonation. Lightly warming finish, more aged, tart leathery berries, nips of woody bourbon, raspberry. Nice depth, quenching.

Bottle ordered from Water Into Beer, Brockley. Aroma is fruity, rich. Dark marmalade. A hint of the BA. Murky ruby tinged brown. Bubbly head soon almost entirely disappeares. Medium-heavy sour. Tart berries. Vinous. Jammy or marmaladey. Tannin and boozey bitter edge. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Fizzy carbonation. Dry astringent finish. A pleasant quaffable sour.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - a lovely chestnut colour. Slightly off white head. Nose - cherry and general cakiness. Little boy of dark toffee. Savoury, walnuts and a hint of farmyard. Taste - nougat and chewy cereal bar, like a flapjack. Palate - medium bodied, rich texture with layers of complexity. The finish has a hint of woody funkiness. Overall - lovely stuff.
