Can. A hazy orange gold beer with a good size bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy palate, semi dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Fluffy pale malts, that pronounced creamy sweetness that characterises many Phantom brews, just a likkle ikkle bit oversweet, but as always, nothing serious. Crisp light pine leads to sweetish floral citrus, lovely light floral lime. Back end is almost candyish layered citrus and tropical fruits, Idaho 7 alright, but much sweeter and more candy bound. Fresh citrus and a little citrus peel comes bubbling up towards the finish. It's beers like this that keep me coming back to Phantom, they so remind me of 2011 - 2018 Kernel. Hop character writ very large and delivered in a balanced way. Well almost, just a bit less malt sweetness!

On tap at Phantom Brewing Co Taproom, Reading, Berks. A hazy golden/orange/yellow coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, citrus, grapefruit, pine, tropical fruit taste and aroma. Really nice IPA.

Can from Inn At Home, Newbury. Aroma had tart citrus and a soapy sweetness. Hazy pale orange. Foamy white head. Initial citrus sourness before bitter stone fruit joins the fray. Underlying sherbert. Umami hints in the finish. On returning to the beer after dinner a resinous is there I hadn't picked up on previously. Medium bodied. Creamy pithy mouthfeel. Average prickly carbonation. Dry finish. Lovely juicy yet resinous IPA.
