Cask at The Wheatsheaf, Thatcham, funnily enough. Malty aroma with a tang to it. Amber. Creamy if blotchy white head. A citrus sourness with a bitter tobacco edge. Underlying sweet malts. The bitterness asserts itself through into the finish. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Decent enough, not just twigs.
