Bottle from A Hoppy Place, Windsor. Rich malty chocolate and coffee aroma. Lively - the cap pops and the contents overflows. Opaque dark cola brown. Thick light beige foam head. Initial low key maltiness before the bitter coffee and chocolate take over. Sour berry edge. Light-medium bodied. Thin cream mouthfeel. Low key fizzy carbonation. Astringent finish. Enjoyable and... yes... mildly do.

Bottle picked up from Hoptimism Webshop, Loughborough, Leicestershire watching Dark (S3 E1) on Netflix, watched in German with German subtitles and again in English with German subtitles. Had this Friday 2nd July 2020 following a pizza in the village and an almighty, torrential, lengthy downpour (it was exciting). This is a simply wonderful Mild and showcases a style that's often overlooked. Pours very dark brown with a light beige head. Lovely smoothness, sone caramel and coffee jostling for a piece of the action, very moreish, simple but well executed mild.
