Bottle from Hoptimism. Aroma combines chocolate malts with spice and vinous hints. Opaque dark brown. Somewhat cloudy. Thick saving foam light beige head. Medium-heavy bitter. Dark chocolate with rye spice. Underlying burnt caramel adds sweetness. Some berry sourness into the finish. Light-medium bodied. Thin. Softy and very fizzy carbonation. Slightly astringent finish. Goes down a treat - the rye compliments the (not so) sweetness of a Brown Ale.
